Billy M. Lambert 82 of Dupo, IL., born January 14, 1938 in Sikeston, MO., passed away on Sunday January 10, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Lambert was a U.S. Army Veteran, he retired from Union Pacific Rail Road in Dupo where he worked as a switchman/conductor. and a member of American Legion in Dupo, IL. he belonged to United Transportation Union in Dupo, IL.

Preceded in death by his parents, Reno & Flora Mae nee Hunter, Lambert; two sisters, Imojean Sitzes, Dorothy Williams; two brothers, Gary Lambert and Dennis Lambert,

Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Marilyn L. Lambert, nee Brassfield; three children, Daniel Lambert of Dupo, IL., Christine (Scott) Kenner of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. and Gary Lambert of Dupo, IL.; two sisters, Christine Miller of Sikeston, MO., and Helen Morphis of Mountain Home, AR. 2 brothers, Kenneth (Betty) Lambert of Sikeston, MO., Daniel (Shawnee) Lambert of Sikeston, MO. 9 grandchildren, John (Lindsey), Danny (Chrissy), Bart (Kassey), Ben, Paul, Blake, Jordan (Luke), Abby (Clayton) and Jodie. 7 great grandchildren, Billy was a dear uncle, brother-in-law , cousin and friend to many.

Billy will be laid to rest at Jefferson Barracks Natl. Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
