Billy D. Hughes, 80 of Dupo, Illinois, born November 6, 1941 in Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at his residence.

Billy was retired from Greenkote/ Finclair Plating in St. Louis, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary Hughes, nee Fergurson; brother, Tommy Hughes; three sisters, Gail Stubblefield, Joann Sweat and Karen Tereece.

Surviving are his wife, Norma Duncan; five children, NeTasha (Jerry) Sickmeier of Waterloo, IL, Taffy (Richie) Conner of St. Louis, MO, Linda Woodfin of St. Louis, MO, Donna (Mark) Underwood of Granite City, IL and Wayne Duncan of Pensicola, MO; brother, Earl Hughes; two sisters Yvonne Garcis and Francis Brown; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Braun Family Funeral Home Columbia, Illinois. Funeral service will follow at 5:00 PM with Pastor Anthony Barnes Officiating.
