Beverly Jewell Coy, nee Dunlap, 74 of Columbia, Illinois, formerly of Cahokia, Illinois, born on February 16, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Coy was formerly employed by 201 Mini Mart in Cahokia, IL., and also worked at Fishers Pharmacy as a pharmacy tech for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Francis Coy; an infant, Baby Coy; her parents, Elmer and Constance, nee Stanley, Dunlap; and one sister, Barbara Long.

Surviving are her sons, Dennis (Denise) Coy of Silverhill, AL. and Matthew (Laura) Coy of Columbia, IL., seven grandchildren, Jason (Shannon), Meghann (Henry), Timothy, Ryan, Mariah, Marisah and Savannah; three step grandchildren, Aaron Akin, Chelsea (Derek) Crockett, Amy Akin; six great grandchildren. She was a dear, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, July 3, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Braun Family Funeral Home, 265 Quarry Rd. Columbia, IL. Mrs. Coy requested private cremation and her ashes will be interred with her husband at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
