BEULAH M. JAMES, nee Phelps, 94, of Crestview, Florida, born September 3, 1923, in St. Louis, Missouri, died Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Crestview Rehabilitation Center, Crestview, Florida.

Mrs. James was preceded in death by her husband, Kendall James; a daughter, Barbara Ward; her parents, Edward and Katie, nee Johnson, Phelps; a brother, Earl Phelps; a sister, Billi Joyce Schwartzkopf; and a grandson, Kendall Edward Germain.

Surviving are a brother, Hilton Ray (Kathleen) Phelps of New Jersey; two sisters, JoAnn (Donald) Lewis of Red Bud, IL and Norma Jean (Eugene) Widner of Florida; two granddaughters, Laura (Leo) Wilson of Defuniak Springs, FL and Carolyn (Steve) Zito of South Carolina; five great grandchildren, Jessica, James (Amber), Alicia (Jason), Genifer, and Travis; and five great great grandchildren, Jaslyn, Jordan, Jaeda, Kendyl, and Willow. She was a dear aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend.

A Committal Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017, at the Valhalla Cemetery Mausoleum in Belleville, Illinois.
