Betty Ann Walter, 72, of East Carondelet, IL, born July 26, 1950 in Paragould, AK, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

Betty was retired from the Special School District in St. Louis County, MO.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Tucker; her mother, Virginia Weir; and a daughter, Tina Ferguson.

Surviving are her son, Jerry L. (Barbara L.) Reeves of Waterloo, IL; four sisters, Deanna Aldridge of East Carondelet, IL, Loretta Aldridge of Dupo, IL, Mary Rehfeldt of East Carondelet, IL and Patricia (Steve) Edwards of Cahokia, IL; three grandchildren, Jesse Leon, Monesa A.V. and Marissa A.C. She was also a dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 4:00 p.m, to 8:00 p,m, at Braun Family Funeral Home Columbia, IL.

Funeral Service Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Belleville, IL.
