Betty Dale Latimer, nee Turner, 81, of Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Cahokia, Illinois, born July 4, 1943 in Conway, Arkansas, died Tuesday, July 30, 2024 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Betty was an amazing and loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister.  All of her friends became her bonus family and she adored all of her fur babies.  She will be sadly missed and always loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Latimer; her parents, Clarence and Lillie, nee Powell, Turner; a brother, Eugene Turner; a sister, Patsy Exendine and her husband Roy; a sister-in-law, Sally Turner; and her father and mother-in-law, Ira and Opal Latimer.

Surviving are her children, Kevin Latimer and Laurie Ann (William "Bill)" Saunders; a daughter-in-law, Viola Latimer; a brother, Bill Turner; grandchildren, Jonathan and Samantha McGee, William "BJ", Robert "Bobby" and Elisabetta "Anna" Saunders; and her great granddaughters, Skylar, Alexxis, and Lily Ana Ray.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois.  Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Roger Reid officiating.  Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
