Betty Jean Breckenridge nee Koss, 91, of Dupo, IL., born on February 13, 1927 in East St. Louis, IL., passed away on December 7, 2018 at New Athens Home for the aged.

Mrs. Breckenridge was a member of First Baptist Church in Dupo, IL., and a member of the Eastern Star.

Preceded in death by her husband Thomas O. Breckenridge and her parents Eugene E. and Ina Murphy, Koss.

Surviving are her 2 sons Terry (Diane) Breckenridge of Theodosia, MO., and Randy (Robin) Breckenridge of Dupo, IL. 2 grandchildren, Tracey Breckenridge and Mike (Rose) Egmon. 3 great grandchildren, Alex Livingood, Joshua and Gabby Egmon. She was a dear aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Visitation will be on Wednesday December 12, 2018 from 11:00 am to 12:45 p.m. at Braun Family Funeral Home 265 Quarry Rd Columbia, IL., Funeral services will begin at 12:45 p.m. with Pastor Roger Reid officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks Natl. Cemetery.
