Beatrice I. "Bea" Demetrulias, nee Harris, 95 of Freeburg, Illinois, formerly of Cahokia, Illinois, born June 7, 1923 in Hensley, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Freeburg Care Center.

Mrs. Demetrulias was a member of St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Swansea, IL and was retired from Westborough Country Club in St. Louis. MO.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Demetrulias; her parents, Iva and Vida, nee Tackett, Harris; five brothers and four sisters.

Surviving are her children, Christ (Kathy) Demetrulias of Scottsdale, AZ and Pana (Ken) Calhoun of Smithton, IL; two sisters, Betty Sebourn of Little Rock, AR and Barbara Walker of Prattsville, AR; six grandchildren, Krista (Cornelius Graham) Demetrulias, Matthew (Lori Brent) Demetrulias, Keri Demetrulias, Scott Calhoun, Todd (Kathy) Calhoun and Mollie (Jared) Bolin; five great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern IL (Orange Team) or the Alzheimer's Association.

Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Braun Family Funeral Home, 265 Quarry Rd. Columbia, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the funeral home with Father Achillies Karathanos officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
