Barbara Joan Stroud, nee Robinson, 67, of Columbia, Illinois, born November 22, 1954 in East St. Louis, Illinois, died Monday, August 8, 2022 at BJC Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Barbara was retired from Boeing in St. Louis, MO. She loved Music; she has played the guitar and sang since she was about nine years old. However, she loved her children and close friends most of all.

She was preceded in death by a son, Dakota Stroud; a daughter, Randi Stroud; her parents, Kenneth and Doris, nee Hayes, Robinson; and a brother, Gary Day.

Surviving are her children, Pasha and Robyn Stroud, both of Columbia, IL; a brother, Ken Robinson of Washington; and her best friend for over 43 years, Diane Dutchik of Wood River, IL. She was also a dear aunt,cousin, and friend.

Memorials may be made to the Pompe Warrior Foundation.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
