Arvil E. O'Guinn of Cahokia, IL., born November 28, 1931 in Truman, AR., passed away on June 24, 2026 at Memorial Hospital in Shiloh, IL.

Preceded in death by his wife Lucille M. O'Guinn nee Sitzes, 2 brothers; Bill and Gregory O'Guinn. 1 sister June Benson.

Surviving are his children; Roxanna (William) Haynes of Millstadt, IL., Steven (Tila) O'Guinn of Cahokia, IL., David O'Guinn of Millstadt, IL. Five grandchildren, Ronald (Shannon) Hall, Chastity (Bobby) Brown, Steven O'Guinn, Thomas (Amanda) O'Guinn, and Justin (Amanda) O'Guinn. Three great grandchildren, Tyler, Trenton, and Kinady; and 4 great great grandchildren, Ireland, Amira, Zaiyn and Isadora. He was also a dear brother-in-law, uncle and cousin and friend to many.

Memorials may be made to BJC Evelyn's House in Creve Coeur, MO.

Friends may visit from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Tuesday June 30, 2026 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 noon at the funeral home, with Pastor Larry Ridenour officiating. Burial will be in St. Matthew Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
