Andrew "Andy" J. Eftink, 94, of Cahokia, Illinois, born November 30, 1931, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026 in Cedar Hill, Missouri.

Andy was retired from Century Skillcraft in St. Louis, MO. and was a member of the Carpenter's Union Local 792 of St. Louis, MO. He was a Korean War U.S. Army veteran  Andy was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church; the Leo Jerome Assembly 1666 of the Knights of Columbus; the Holy Family Men's Club; and the Monday Men's Bowling League, all of Cahokia, IL. He enjoyed bowling, working puzzles, and riding his bicycle.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret "Marge" Eftink, nee Ameln; his siblings, John Eftink, Marcella Buehler, Anthony Eftink, and Aloysius Eftink.

Surviving are his children, Annette (Joe) Walaszek, Theresa Eftink, Steve (Teresa) Eftink, Vincent Eftink, Matthew (Andrea) Eftink, and Christine (Shannon) Kitchen; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Eftink and Judy Eftink ten grandchildren, Jeffrey, Brandi, Lindsay, Jessica (Derek), Rebecca, Sarah (Rusty), Christopher, Paul, Johnathan, and Daniel; and two great grandchildren, Charles and baby Cebrian (here soon). He was also a dear uncle, cousin, and friend.

Memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, Cahokia, Illinois.

Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois, with a Knights of Columbus Service at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Cahokia, Illinois, with Father Andy Knopik officiating.  Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
