Alice E. Songer nee Smith, 84 of Waterloo, IL., formerly of Cahokia, IL., was born November 10, 1933 in Beech Grove, AR., and passed away on January 10, 2018 at Saint Clare Hospital in Fenton, MO.

Mrs. Songer was a lifelong member of Maplewood Church of Christ in Cahokia, IL.

Preceded in death by her loving husband William "Junior" Songer. one sister and four Brothers.

Surviving are her children, Danny (Sharon) Songer of Waterloo, IL., Stanley Michael Songer of Waterloo, IL., Donna (Dennis) Gregory of Waterloo, IL. and Debbie (Jeff) Wynn of Fults, IL. four grandchildren Stacey (Clint) Walters, Ernest (Danielle) Aubuschon IV, Breanna (Nathan) Koen and Danny (Corie) Songer Jr. 9 great grandchildren Lena, Chloe, Andrew, Hunter, Parker, Benjamin, Dylan, Zachary and Gunner. She a dear, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, American Cancer, Children's Home in Paragould, AR.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 11:00 am to 12:30 p.m. at Braun Family Funeral Home 265 Quarry Road Columbia, IL. Funeral services will begin at 12:30 p.m. with Brother Evan Smith (Nephew) officiating. Burial will be in Kolmer Cemetery, Waterloo, IL.
