Ada Sue Wallace, nee Banks, 77, of Waterloo, Illinois, formerly of Cahokia, Illinois, born January 14, 1943 in Boydsville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her residence.
Ada held many professions in her life, including, driving a truck, auto body repair, and caring for hospice patients, to name a few. She was an avid reader and had an extensive collection of books.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Calvin Nichlas Latner; her last husband, John Wallace; two sons, William Tribble and George Howard; a son-in-law, Albert Ybarra; three brothers, Ted, Bill, and Charlie Banks; and two great grandsons, Nikhil Latner and Brenden Bejarano.
Surviving are her children, Brian "Scott" Latner of Cahokia, IL, Elizabeth "Beth" Ybarra of Denton, TX, and Thomas "Charlie" (Jeannie) Latner of Waterloo, IL; a brother, Willie "Bud" Banks of Bowling Green, KY; a sister, Lola Husky of Ecru, MS; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She was also a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend.
In accordance to Ada's wishes a private cremation will be held. Ada's care was entrusted to the Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois.
