Ada "Delores" Boyer, nee Culbertson, 92, of Cahokia, Illinois, born May 26, 1930 in New Madrid, Missouri, died Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Belleville Memorial Hospital.

Delores was a retired cook from Camp Wartburg in Waterloo, IL. She attended New Destiny Ministries in Cahokia, IL. She loved to cook and was very good at it and was always trying new recipes. She also loved to decorate.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Boyer; two daughters, Karen Boyer and Diane James; her parents, Albert and Edith, nee Weeks, Culbertson; a brother; and two sisters.
Surviving are her children, Gary Boyer of St. Louis, MO, Marjorie (Joe) Sterzik of Imperial, MO, Janice Rogers of Fayetteville, IL, James (Marylou) Lynch of Colorado, Donald Boyer of St. Louis, MO, and Vicky Turner of Cahokia, IL; two brothers, Doug (Lolly) Soebbing of St. Louis, MO and Joe Soebbing of New Mexico; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She was also a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022 at New Destiny Ministries, 535 State Rt 3, Cahokia, Illinois. Funeral services will follow at 12:30 p.m., with Bishop James Heard officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois.
