Minnie Rosetta Robinson

Minnie Rosetta Robinson, nee Goetz, 94, of Cahokia, IL., born January 16, 1913 in Bismark, MO., died Friday June 22, 2007 at Columbia Convalescent Center, Columbia, IL.

Mrs. Robinson was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Cahokia, IL.; Ladies Aide Society and Sewing Circle of the church; and Ladies Auxiiliary V.F.W. Post 6368 of Dupo, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Robinson; her parents, Joseph & Mina D., nee Driemeier, Goetz; a grandson, Christopher A. Robinson; six brothers, Otto (Julia) Goetz; Louis (Grace) Goetz; George (Marie) Goetz; John (Virginia & Sarah) Goetz; Joseph (Betty) Goetz, and Fred Goetz (Ethel); four sisters, Lena (ED) Noll, Josie (Frank Wallen, Louise (Clarence) Robinson, and Alberta (Buster) Thompson; five nephews, Clinton Goetz; Freddie Goetz; Harry Noll; Leon and Leo Robinson; five nieces, Carol (George) Vogel, Lois Goetz, Dorothy Thompson, Lenora Goetz, and Rose Goetz.

Surviving are a daughter, La Verne (William) Odum of Dupo, IL.; a son, Sterling (Charlotte) Robinson of Cape Girardeau, MO.; four grandchildren, Will (Kelly) Odum, Matthew (Ranee) Odum, Gregory (Ellen) Robinson and Sheryl Renee (Brandon) Sutton; six great grandchildren Casey Odum, Connor Odum, Wyatt Odum, Mackenzie Robinson, Zachary Robinson & Madelynne Robinson; nieces & nephews Beulah Marler, Adele (Oscar) Masters, Shannon (Mike) Schultz, Marvin Goetz, Eugene (Barbara) Wallen, Lawrence (Sharon) Robinson, Louise (Randy) Root, Wanda Goetz, Bonnie (Ray) Tindall, Larry (Audrey) Goetz, Melvin Noll, Ronald (Connie) Robinson, Linda Goetz, Lanny (Audrey) Goetz, Harley Goetz, Bernice Wallen & Joe (Marsha) Robinson.

Visitation on Sunday June 24, 2007 at Braun Colonial Funeral Home Cahokia, IL. from 4 to 8 P.M.

Funeral service 10 A.M. on Monday June 25, 2007 at Braun Colonial Funeral Home Cahokia, IL. with Rev. Darwin Schrader officiating. Burial in Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery Fairview Heights, IL.
